<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing capable of enhancing the permeativeness of lubricating oil while the necessary rigidity of a retainer is properly secured and preventing dislocation in the circumferential direction of the retainer formed by joining two ring-shaped plates. <P>SOLUTION: The thrust roller bearing 10 is equipped with the retainer 14 which holds a plurality of needle rollers 13 arranged between a pair of raceway rings confronting each other in the axial direction in such a way as capable of rolling in the circumferential direction. The retainer 14 is composed of two ring-shaped plates 15 and 16 arranged separately from each other in the axial direction, and edges of the inner and outer circumferential ends of each pocket 17 are folded so that the plates 15 and 16 are overlapped in the axial direction so that an overlapped part 18 is formed, and a tightening piece 19 extended to the overlapped part 18 on the inner circumferential end is caulked to form a caulked part 20, and thereby the two plates 15 and 16 are integrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
