PURPOSE: A compression controller for a seal of a nonmetallic water gate is provided to control the compression of a seal simply and exactly. CONSTITUTION: The compression controller for a seal of a nonmetallic water gate contains a top cover installed on vertical frames(1'), a square screw type stem provided with a bearing housing and a hand wheel and fastened on the center, a door plate provided with a stem nut block and installed on the lower end of the stem, inclines(8') formed on the right and left ends of the door plate, nuts(9') fixed on the outer sides of the vertical frames(1') and fastened with control bolts(10') and locking nuts(11'), guide bars(13') provided with inclines(12') and interposed to guide bar bearing frames(14') and fixed with snap rings(15'), seal grooves(16') formed on the opposite sides of the inclines(8') of the door plate and fixed with seals(17'), and seals(17') contacted on seal guides(18') attached to vertical frames(1').
