<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for internal combustion engine that can effectively utilize a silicon steel sheet by hardly producing scrap materials. <P>SOLUTION: This ignition coil for internal combustion engine is provided with a cylindrical first core 12 passed through the inside of a bobbin 11 wound with a coil, and a second core 13 passed through the outer periphery of the bobbin 11 and joined to the end section of the core 12 so as to constitute a closed magnetic circuit between the corers 12 and 13. Since the second core 13 is constituted by laminating core materials composed of strip-type silicon steel sheets upon another, by providing a plurality of notched sections 14 to each steel sheet and annularly bending the steel sheets to the sides of the notched sections 14, the silicon steel sheets can be utilized effectively by hardly producing scrap materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
