PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail of a sash traveling on a roller, which is provided in a lower part of a sash frame and travels on the roller provided on a sash sill of a sliding door. SOLUTION: This sliding door is characterized in that: a cover 4 is provided in the sash sill; a narrow groove 5 is provided in the cover 4 in a state of being drilled through the cover 4; a roller base 6 is provided under the cover 4; the free rotating roller 1 with a small diameter is provided on the roller base 6 at a right angle to the groove 5; and the plate-shaped rail 2, which is provided in the lower part of the sash frame 3, is inserted into the groove 5 of the cover 4; and the rail 2 travels on the roller 1.
