PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural circulation system not impairing the coefficient of performance and operating efficiency of a refrigerator, without having a pump to force-feed circulating cold water. SOLUTION: An adsorption refrigerator or absorption refrigerator is provided comprising an evaporator 10 which guides the circulating cold water 15 containing replenishment water; an adsorber 11; and a condenser 12. An air-conditioning radiation panel serving as a heat exchange means 16 for installation on each story of a building is provided to intervene in the path of a supply pipe 14 extending from the evaporator 10. The evaporator 10, on one hand, has the supply pipe 14 and a return pipe 17 with the heat exchange means 16 intervening therebetween, and on the other hand has a bubble mixing pipe 18 for connection to the return pipe 17 from the condenser 12, so that natural circulation of the cold water is effected by means of buoyancy resulting from a difference in concentration of the circulating cold water between the supply pipe 14 and the return pipe 17 and air bubbles. A position of the bubble mixing pipe 18 where it is connected to the return pipe 17, that is, its connection 17a, is adapted to the depth of water in the return pipe 17 at which the air bubbles are mixed by the action of a pressure difference between the insides of the condenser 12 and the return pipe 17.
