<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which a speed change of an image carrier, a speed change of an intermediate transfer device, a speed change of a recording medium, all of which affect a density change of a halftone image, are minimized in order to improve resolution and image quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming device having the image carrier for forming a toner image thereon, a rotating means which rotates the image carrier 11 comprises a gear 40 having a gear end 41 and a web 42.
