The lifting system has a square top frame (4) with long, narrow rollers (12-16) mounted on three sides. The frame has a central platform (14) supporting a drive motor, held by struts extending (6,8) to the sides. The lower frame (26) may have four struts (28-34) fastened together with 90 degree angles at their ends. Lifting tapes (18a-22b) are fastened at angles to make narrow V-shapes at the center of the rear side of the frame and near the front ends of the sides. The top ends of the tapes are fastened near the ends of the rollers.
