The invention relates to the petroleum industry, in particular to a method and device for conditioning a hydrocarbon liquid. The inventive method for conditioning a liquid is based on the resonance excitation thereof and consists in supplying said liquid to a cavity (1) of a rotating working wheel (2) and injecting the liquid from the cavity (1) through a row of output orifices (8) embodied in the peripheral wall (21) of the working wheel to an annular chamber (5) and, afterward to a collection chamber (10) at a following ratio nR1=9.29128 F1 [m/c], wherein n[1/c]-rotational frequency of the working wheel R1[m]-radius of the peripheral surface of the wall (21), F1=7.99905 N1<-1/2> [kH] ± (12.5 N 1<-1>) % - resonance frequency, 50>=N1>=10 selected whole number. The inventive device comprises the wheel (2) which is embodied in the form of a disc (20) and of an annular peripheral wall (21) provided with a row of output orifices (8), a stator (4) having a coaxial wall (22), an input orifice (3) which is connected to the cavity (1) of the working wheel (2), an output orifice (11) connected to the collection chamber (10), an annular chamber (5) connected to the collection chamber (10) and an actuator. The external radius of the wall (21) of the working wheel (2) is equal to: R1=9.29128 K1 [mm] ± 0.25 %, wherein 50>=K1>=10- number of the output orifices (8).
