DATA COPY-PROTECTING SYSTEM FOR CREATING A COPY-SECURED OPTICAL DISC AND CORRESPONDING PROTECTING METHOD

The invention relates to a system for protection against the copying of information for the creation of a protected optical disk. The system comprises, at the premises of the publisher of an application (12), a creation software assembly (10) carried by an auto-protected optical disk comprising an assembly of protection elements allowing the publisher to insert into the application a protection file manifesting his strategic choices of protection. The resulting assembly is transcribed onto a transport disk (CD-R1) so as to be sent to the duplicator's premises. The latter, with the aid of a pre-mastering software assembly (20), reconstructs the content of the definitive disk comprising a protection zone in two parts, in the form of two disks (CD-R2, CD-R3) respectively containing the data of the main track together with the first part of the protection zone and of the second part. The invention applies to the creation of optical disks protected against copying.
