PURPOSE: A circuit for effectively recovering address power of a plasma display panel is provided to increase address speed, to reduce address power and to reduce the number of switching devices. CONSTITUTION: A circuit(63a) for effectively recovering address power of a plasma display panel includes a first to a third switching devices(S1,S2,S3), a power recovery capacitor(CPR), a pair of resistors(R1,R2) and an auxiliary capacitor(CAD). In the circuit(63a), the full charged voltage of the power recovery capacitor(CPR) is a half of the selection address voltage of the display data signal. The full charged voltage of the power recovery capacitor(CPR) is applied to the power voltage terminal of an address driving circuit(63a) at the time when the display data signal does not apply to the address electrode lines. |
