STRUCTURE OF GETTER SUPPORT SPRING OF CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A structure is provided to prevent a distortion of electron beam path caused due to the getter, while maintaining the vacuum level constant. CONSTITUTION: A getter support spring(33) is coupled to an electron gun and inserted into the cone portion of a funnel so as to improve the vacuum level of a cathode ray tube. The getter support spring is constituted by a linear section(35) and a curved section(37). The getter support spring has a side bead(35c) formed at both sides of the portion to be welded to the end of a shield cup of the electron gun.
