A sweetening preparation comprises saccharin or a derivative thereof (e.g. sodium saccharin or cyclamate), monosodium glutamate and at least one of guanylic acid, inosinic acid and salts thereof (e.g. disodium salts). A cyclamate may be present in the preparation. The preparation may comprise one or more maltodextrins. The preparation may be in the form of tablets, powder or liquid. The preparation may be prepared by mixing the components in water and drying the mixture e.g. by spray, drum or vacuum drying. |
