<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap for controlling a flow rate from a small value to a large value when spouting contents, and to provide a hinge cap for easily and reliably breaking a score forming a part to be opened. <P>SOLUTION: This hinge cap comprises a cap body 2 to be fitted and fixed to a vessel mouth, and an upper lid 4 connected to the cap body 2 by a hinge 3. The cap body comprises a top plate 5 and a skirt 6. A spouting cylinder 7 and a part 9 to be opened which is demarcated by a score 8 on the inner side of the spouting cylinder and has a holding part 10 for breaking a score on a hinge side are provided on the top plate part 5, and an inner ring 11 fitted and fixed to the vessel mouth is formed on an inner surface of the top plate part. The top plate inside the spouting cylinder has a recessed part 13, a bottom wall 12 of the recessed part is inclined downwardly from a spouting direction to the hinge side.
