PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust from a reading part to prevent the dust from staying in the reading part, by bringing an original document into close contact with the reading part all the time to convey the document, and to prevent an abnormal image from being generated by a black stripe thereby. SOLUTION: A linear velocity of a sheet discharge roller 19 is made slow with respect to a linear velocity of a conveying roller 14. When a rear end of the document is detected by a document sensor 100, the linear velocity of the sheet discharge roller 19 is made fast with respect to the linear velocity of the conveying roller 14. An upper side guide 120 and a lower side guide 121 are provided in an end part of an image sensor 71 on upstream in a conveying direction of the document, so as to face the document to the image sensor 71 by the upper side guide 120 and the lower side guide 121.
