<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which is simple in structure and can reduce costs by heating garbage by effectively using waste heat generated in a deodorization exhaust part. <P>SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus has a treatment part for decomposing garbage, a recovery part for recovering the decomposed garbage, the deodorization exhaust part which deodorizes odorous air from the treatment part or the recovery part and discharges the deodorized air. A deodorization case having a heat catalyst and a heating element for heating the catalyst is set in the deodorization exhaust part, a hollow layer is formed on the back of a treatment tank, and exhaust gas discharged from the deodorization case is discharged to the outside of the apparatus through the hollow layer on the back of the treatment tank. Alternatively, the deodorization case is set in the deodorization exhaust part, a communication route from the deodorization case is formed in the upper part of the treatment tank, and the exhaust gas discharged from the deodorization case, after being returned to the treatment tank through the communication route, is discharged to the outside of apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
