PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup method of smoothing expressive wrinkles and lines. SOLUTION: A composition containing at least one sapogenin, a plant extract that contains sapogenin, or a sapogenin ester in a physiologically permissible medium is locally applied to a face with expressive wrinkles and lines or facial and forehead portions and/or to a man who has expressive wrinkles and lines.
