PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and weight of an elastic crawler for replacing an iron shoe crawler to be wound around a traveling wheel array with a driving wheel, an idler wheel and a straddle rolling wheel type lower rolling wheel. SOLUTION: A laterally reinforcing body 21 is buried in a crawler body 20 made of an elastic material in a prescribed interval in a peripheral direction thereof. A guide projection 22 projecting to the inner circumferential surface of the crawler body 20 is formed on the laterally reinforcing body 21. The guide projection 22 is miniaturized in a range in which its tip part 23 does not abut on the outer circumferential surface of the idler wheel 6, and the tip end of a collar part 13 projected from the outer peripheral part of the idler wheel 6 can abut on an driving engaging part 21a of the laterally reinforcing body 21.
