PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for greening the whole necessary wall surface of a low- or medium-rise building by holding many rectangular box-shaped wire mesh blocks in combination on wire meshes each set up on a pair of supporting columns. SOLUTION: The method for greening the whole necessary area of the low- or medium-rise building comprises the following procedure. Pairs of supporting columns A made up of respective sets of two supporting columns 1a and 1b with a given space are firmly stood at a given intervals, L-shaped holding frames 2a and 2b mounted with bottom wire nets 3 and standing against each other are fixed vertically at equal intervals inside of the groups 1a and 1b, wire meshes B are fixedly held with intermediate holding plates 4a and 4b on the groups 1a and 1b between the 2a and 2b, the lower wall side of the 4a and 4b is backed with a waterproof sheet C, each of the wire mesh blocks F for planting use where the respective surfaces of a rectangular box are constituted of lattice-like meshes 5 and the inner surface of the box is lined with a planting net D made by reinforcing a fiber sheet 6 of coconut fibers or the like with a lattice-patterned frame 7 and soil E is packed inside is insertedly attached into the backing of said waterproof sheet C, and the soil E is planted with plant roots according to a relevant season and ivy branches are crept over said wire meshes B.
