FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in hand-held seeders. SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has hopper, dosing device, and funnel. Dosing device is made in the form of disk with horizontal axis of rotation and is equipped with cells arranged between groups of bristles fixed along disk perimeter at different distances from axis of rotation. Disk is composed of identical members. Pair of members are arranged in opposed relation and connected with one another through supporting platforms. Each disk is provided with central multiangular opening for putting on drive shaft pivot. Group of bristles are made in the form of U-shaped loop embracing pins, which are arranged in equally spaced relation on disk flange. Bristles in groups of bristles are made from threads of plant or animal material, or from synthetic material thread of 0.5-0.9 mm diameter.
