PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control device and its method for reducing the over head related to DMA transfer. SOLUTION: To achieve the purpose mentioned above, the data transfer control device is provided with a first writing means for writing a storage region address on a storage device about a header constituting transfer data in data transfer between a data input/output device and the storage device, a second writing means for writing a storage region address on the storage device about a data body constituting transfer data, a storing means for storing an address allocated to the data input/output device, and a transferring means for reading data to be transferred from the storage device or the data input/ output device based on the storage region address written in the first writing means and the second writing means or the address in the storing means and for transferring the read data to the data input/output device or the storage device in a predetermined order.
