<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing back-up system which can be mounted on a portable display device and with which display equipment incorporated with a display device and an image processor as a set after the display device is corrected to the optimum luminance and colors and emphasized can be mass- produced. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing back-up system is provided with an image processor which inputs image signals, independently processes the inputted image signals for changing the luminance and colors of the signals based on an externally set parameter, and outputs the processed signals; a display device which displays the image signals processed by means of the image processor; and a measuring means which measures the gamma characteristic and color reproducibility characteristic of the display device. This back-up system also has an image processing back-up device which inputs the measured results of the measuring means, generates a parameter in accordance with the operation performed by or input from an operator, and sets the parameter to the image processor, and, at the same time, outputs an evaluation image to the display device through the image processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
