PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerically controlled machine that can accurately perform a machining operation by minimizing a machining tolerance.
SOLUTION: The numerically controlled laser machine has a machining program that is comprised of instructions (refer to S2 and S3) to change a gap length (the distance between a torch and a work), as well as the instructions (refer to S5 and S6) to change a position of the torch. An arm length is automatically adjusted after the gap has been changed (refer to S4), if the foregoing instructions are executed for controlling the position of the torch by adjusting the arm length. Consequently, a machining point tolerance is minimized when the laser machining (refer to S9) is performed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
|
