PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a DMA (direct memory access) controller to be easily built into an existing circuit and to reduce the power consumption and circuit scale without decreasing performance. SOLUTION: A transfer destination address generating part 5 is provided with a calculator 51 for calculating difference between a transfer destination address and a transfer origin address, a difference holding resistor 52 for storing the difference determined by the calculator 51, and a calculator 53 for calculating and determining the transfer destination address based on the difference stored in the difference holding resistor 52 and the transfer origin address. A transfer origin address generating part 2 is provided with a transfer origin address resistor 21 for storing a present value of the transfer origin address and a transfer origin reload resistor 22 for storing an initial value of the transfer origin address.
