PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and securely select an access point of the connection destination when a wireless terminal exists in an overlap area of two cells and to relay the limit of an installation place of the wireless terminal. SOLUTION: A wireless LAN system is provided with: a means for deciding a connection destination by comparing the distance between the wireless terminal and an access point when the wireless terminal exists in the overlap area; and a means for switching the access point earlier when the wireless terminal enters the overlap area from other areas than the overlap area.
