摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for compensating transmission quality of an optical main signal more safely and for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: When a repeater monitor control (SV), pre-emphasis automatic adjustment (PE), automatic adjustment of a threshold on the reception side (VTH), setting of a distributed compensation value on the transmission side (VDC (T)), and setting of a distribute compensation value on the reception side (VDC (R)) are made into the optical main signal, control is performed in priority in the above order. Consequently, the device is constituted so that control with higher priority is preferentially performed when two or more controls are overlapped in addition to a case that each control is independently performed. Thus, the device is constituted so that no adverse effect is given to the transmission quality of the optical main signal as a result of simultaneously performing the controls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
