PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic originating method and an automatic originating unit of telephone based on number guide in which operability is enhanced. SOLUTION: A telephone number acquired by inquiring the number guide on the network side 40 through a data transmitting/receiving circuit 12 is received as data, analyzed at a data analyzing section 21, stored in a memory IC 15, e.g. a telephone book, under control of a memory control section 25, and originated automatically from an automatic origination control section 22.
