<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an wide dynamic range image obtained by using dynamic range expansion imaging even to an object with relatively low luminance. <P>SOLUTION: A CCD image pickup element 105 picks up an object with predetermined exposure controlled by an exposure control mechanism 103 and outputs an image signal. A two-image consecutive imaging control part 112a controls the performance of an imaging sequence that obtains two images (original image signal) with different exposure values in order to obtain one final still image. An image signal generation processing control part 112b controls image signal generation processing that combines the two image (original image signal) obtained from the CCD image pickup element 105 by the control of the two- image consecutive imaging control part 112a while correction positional deviation between the original image signals to generate one still image (composite image signal). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
