<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable photoelectric converter with lower manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: There can be provided a highly reliable photoelectric converter wherein a large amount of crystalline semiconductor particle 2 showing one conductivity type is provided on a substrate 1 including one electrode 1' and it is bonded with the substrate 1, a semiconductor layer 4 showing reverse conductivity type is provided on the crystalline semiconductor particle 2 by filling the space among the crystalline semiconductor particle 2 with an insulator 3, and the other electrode is connected to the semiconductor layer 4 showing the reverse conductivity type. In the photoelectric converter, the crystalline semiconductor particle 2 is formed of silicon and the insulator 3 is composed of a mixture of polysiloxane and polycarbosilane or of reactants of these elements. Therefore, the excellent insulator 3 having stable reliability can be formed by filling the space among the crystalline semiconductor particle 2 and preventing the occurrence of faults such as cracks and peeling or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
