PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory camera system capable of continuing control and recording even in an emergency wherein individual devices are destroyed. SOLUTION: After a camera terminal transmits a packet including supervisory video data to a supervisory controller 100, the camera terminal receives a receipt packet from the supervisory controller 100. When the camera terminal cannot receive the receipt packet, the camera terminal discriminates that the supervisory controller 100 is destroyed or faulty and records a supervisory video image on a recording medium built in the camera terminal.
