<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of properly conducting actual copying by executing trial copy print in advance in order to prevent positional deviation of an original image onto a recording paper medium in the case that the image of an original of a non-routine size form is recorded onto a recording medium of a nonroutine size form. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a preview key 19; a start key 17, an image memory 8, an image reader 4; an image recorder 5, and an MPU 1. When the preview key 19 is operated for entry in a state that a recording medium on a manual insertion tray 20 is selected for a copy recording medium, the MPU 1 allows the image reader 4 to read the image of the original, stores the original image to the image memory 8, automatically selects a prescribed fixed form recording medium housed in the image recorder 5 to execute trial copy print, reads the stored original image and allows the recorder 5 to print out the original image on an envelope 30 that is a non- routine form original on the manual insertion tray 20 when the start key 17 is depressed after the execution of the trial copy print. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
