PURPOSE: A method and a system for detecting a pH image are provided to detect the pH image at a high speed by detecting positions of pH images after applying modulated light to each pixel. CONSTITUTION: A pH image detecting system includes a potentiometer(310), an electrode section(330), a sensor section(340), a signal detecting section(350), a display section(360), and a line optic section(370). The potentiometer(310) has a DC voltage varying section(311) for generating direct current on a sensor portion and a DC voltage applying section(312). The electrode section(330) has a reference electrode(331) and a control electrode(332). The sensor section(340) has a detecting layer(341), an insulation member(342) and a silicon wafer. The line optic section(370) has a light source part(371), a diffusion lens(372), a rotating grating(373), and a slit. Light modulated by the rotating grating(373) is radiated into one line through the slit.
