The invention relates to a track cover, comprising cover elements (5), inserted between the both rails (2, 3) of a track (4), and optionally with further cover elements (6) placed externally to said rails (2, 3). The cover elements (5, 6) are seated on support elements (14), running in the direction of the sleeper (15), each above the cavity (16) between adjacent sleepers (8) and formed from two support and positioning blocks (17), connected to each other by means of a connector (18). The support and positioning blocks (17) have support lugs (11) for engaging in the lateral recesses on the rails (2, 3). The cover elements seated on said support elements are prevented from moving laterally and from lifting by a positive fit with the supporting and positioning bocks (17). The support elements (14), with cover elements sitting above (5, 6), are arranged at a vertical separation from the sleepers (8) and the sleeper bed (9) of the track (4) above said sleepers (4) and sleeper bed (9) and bridge the gap beneath without support. |
