<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of obtaining an excellent capacity and high-temperature charging/discharging cycle characteristics and improving the load characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are wound via a separator 23. The positive electrode has a positive electrode mix layer containing a lithium-containing composite oxide containing at least one of the group consisting of Co, Ni, Mn and Fe. The negative electrode 22 has a negative electrode mix layer containing a tin-containing alloy, a carbon material and a fatty acid or a metallic salt thereof. Thus the excellent battery capacity and high-temperature charging/discharging cycle characteristics can be obtained. Moreover, by letting the content of the fatty acid and the metallic salt thereof be from 0.1 mass % to 6 mass %, the load characteristic can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
