PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one of an information recording medium which has higher forgery prevention effect than a conventional machine-readable diffraction grating pattern, a label with the information recording medium, a transfer sheet with the information recording medium, an article with the information recording medium, and a genuineness deciding method.

SOLUTION: The information recording medium (1) has a contactless information record carrier (2) having an integrated circuit chip (21) and an antenna (22) for contactless communication and a machine-readable optical information recording part (3) at least on a base (11) and is characterized in that information related to unique information recorded on the contactless information recording carrier (2) is recorded in the machine-readable optical information recording part (3).
