Disclosed is a method for producing crystals, the average particle size of which lies within a predefined range while the maximum particle size does not exceed a given value. According to the inventive method, an oversaturated solution of special 11ss-benzaldoxime-estra-4,9-diene is subjected to wet milling during crystallization by means of a wet milling device, whereby a primary granular suspension is obtained. Also disclosed are crystals that are obtained by the inventive method and pharmaceutical formulations containing said crystals.
