PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caisson having such a structure that a cost is low, a weight is low, and a rigid strength is sufficient and a submersible structure using the caisson. SOLUTION: In this caisson of steel-concrete combined structure, a steel plate 2 having, on one face thereof, studs 4 and reinforcements 5 forming holding means for holding concrete and concrete beams 13 formed of the concrete is stuck on the outer peripheral surface of a steel frame 12 of a specified shape so that the one surface faces outward, and the concrete is placed on the outer peripheral surface thereof.
