<p>A method of grounding a car capable of effectively deriving the performance of various types of electrical equipment mounted on a vehicle by reducing resistance values in the circuits of the electrical equipment, reducing voltage drops generated in resistance portions, and making smooth the supply of current to the electrical equipment, and a cable for grounding highly resistant to secular changes, usable for long period, and having an excellent performance, the method of grounding the car comprising the steps of grounding one end part of a ground cable (1) having a core of 99.9% or more in purity, formed of copper strands with a tin-plated surface and a small diameter, and having a surface covered with polyvinyl chloride resin or polyolefin resin to one side body (8) of the vehicle, and grounding the other end part to the negative terminal (7) of a battery (20) and the other side body (3) via at least the cylinder head (6) of an engine or an area near the cylinder head.</p> |
