<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe internal surface cutting apparatus which minimizes abrasion of a diamond cutter thereof at the time of cutting a pipe having a cement-lined inner surface. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an embedded pipe replacing method which is carried out in the following manner. First, a cutter 7 cuts the existing embedded pipe 1 from its internal surface in a radially outward direction and then axially proceeds, to thereby divide the pipe 1 in a longitudinal direction. Next, a reaming jig 8 is forcedly inserted into the embedded pipe 1 to radially ream the same, and thereafter a new pipe 9 for replacement is inserted into the pipe 1. According to the method, a destruction jig 11 for destroying a lining layer 10 arranged along the internal surface of the embedded pipe is arranged ahead of a cutter device 6 for cutting the embedded pipe 1 from the interior surface in the radially outward direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
