PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method for manufacturing a polymerization process toner, which method does not exert an adverse influence to product characteristics occurring in much intrusion of the polymerized toner particles failing to attain a desired polymerization conversion rate as a result of the insufficiency in stagnation time and the peeled deposits in a polymerization apparatus into the product, does not intrinsically require the work to remove the deposits in the polymerization apparatus and can achieve high production efficiency. SOLUTION: The method comprises manufacturing the polymerization process toner which is colored polymer particles obtained by dispersing a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least a polymerizable monomer and coloring agents into the aqueous medium by using an agitating machine having a high shearing force, to make a polymerizable monomer composition dispersion and polymerizing this polymerizable monomer composition dispersion, in which the process step of polymerizing the polymerizable monomer composition dispersion is performed by the polymerization apparatus to continuously perform supply 7 and withdrawal 8 of the dispersion.
