PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a thin film held on the surface of a base is laid on the surface of a sheet material and bonded to the entire surface of the sheet material by heating the sheet material from the back of the base, normal bonding may not be ensured because the bonding state is changed by the temperature or humidity of the atmosphere where the sheet material is stocked. SOLUTION: The lamination system comprises a press roller 26 for pressing a print medium 1 against a protective film held on the surface of a base 3, a heating head 25 disposed oppositely to the press roller 26 while holding the print medium 1 between and bonding the protective film to the surface of the print medium 1 by heating the print medium 1 from the back of the base 3, a humidity sensor 13 and a thermistor 14 for detecting the humidity and temperature of the atmosphere in a roll sheet cartridge 11, and a head control means for controlling the heating state of the heating head 25 based on the atmospheric humidity and temperature detected by the humidity sensor 13 and the thermistor 14.
