摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a superconductive radiation detector having a feature of high energy resolution and high counting rate by utilizing sharpness in a superconductive transition end, by converting a minute heat that is generated by X rays to a large signal current, and by utilizing an self electric heat feedback mechanism. SOLUTION: The calorimeter comprises: an absorber 5 for absorbing X rays; a resistor 4 for changing resistance by heat that is generated by the absorber 5 that is provided below the absorber 5; a superconductive wire 6 for connecting the resistor 4 to an external current detector; and a membrane 3 where the resistor 4 is laminated. In the calorimeter where the resistor 4 is made of a superconductor, Joule heat that is generated by allowing a current to steadily flow to the resistor 4 and heat that is generated in the absorber are thermally balanced and are propagated to the membrane 3, an insulating film having a through hole 8 in the thickness direction is provided between the resistor 4 and the absorber 5.
