PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which gives a molding excellent in transparency, less in the variations of transparency and excellent in crystallization controllability at the time of melt molding, as well as to provide therefrom a hollow molding which has good transparency, particularly which has an appropriate range as for the shrinkage ratio at the mouth cap portion, and which hardly gives a remaining foreign taste or a foreign odor when obtained as the molding, a sheet-shaped material, and an oriented film. SOLUTION: The composition comprises chips of a polyester whose repeating unit is ethylene terephthalate, 0.1-5,000 ppm of fines of a polyester which have the same composition as that of the above polyester chips, and 0.1 ppb-50,000 ppm of at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyolefin resins, polyamide resins, and polyacetal resins. The crystallization temperature at lowering temperatures (Tc2') of the above polyester fines is, when measured with a DSC, 195°C or below. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
