The invention concerns an immunogenic or vaccine composition inducing an immune response against the native E7 protein of Papillomavirus HPV-16, without simultaneously inducing immunosuppression, said composition comprising, as active principle, a non-immunosuppressive mutated E7 protein comprising the amino acid sequence consisting, from the N-terminal, towards the C-terminal, of: (i) amino acid sequences 1-19 of sequence SEQ ID N DEG 3; (ii) an amino acid sequence having (a) substitution of at least one amino acid, relative to the corresponding sequence of amino acids 20-29 of sequence SEQ ID N DEG 3 or (b) deletion of at least four consecutive amino acids, relative to the corresponding sequence of amino acids 20-29 of sequence SEQ ID N DEG 3; and (iii) the sequence of amino acids 30-98 of sequence SEQ ID N DEG 3.
