<p>At first, edges of a digital image to be measured are detected (ST101). Subsequently, local maximum positions and local minimum positions are detected by filtering the digital image (ST102). A position nearest to the edge position among said local maximum positions (or said local minimum positions) is detected as a 'start position of the edge' or an 'end position of the edge' (ST113). An edge width which is a distance between the start position of the edge and the end position of the edge is calculated (ST114). After these processes are completed with regard to all rows and columns, a blur measurement is obtained by dividing TotBM by NbEdges. TotBM indicates the sum of all edge widths measuremed in the image.</p> |
