<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device requiring less abrasion strength necessary for an air bag. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device 10 has the air bag 12, an inflator 14, a casing 16, a connecting piece 18 for connecting the air bag 12 in the casing 16, and a fastening member 20 for fastening the connecting piece 18 in the casing 16. The connecting piece 18 is sewn on an outside surface of a rear panel 12a of the air bag 12.
