<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generator for small amount and small scale power generation wherein a power is stably generated by an efficient starting. <P>SOLUTION: In this wind power generation, a vertical shaft turbine 2 is fitted to the upper part of a vertically installed rotating shaft 1, a generator 3 is connected to the proper position of the rotating shaft 1, and a battery 4 for storing both an output from the generator and the other external power. In addition, the wind power generator comprises an auxiliary motor 5 continuously providing a rotational force required for the starting of the vertical shaft turbine to the rotating shaft by receiving a power from the battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
