<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding transport container and a folding pallet box, each of which has a structure to easily prevent a release failure and a decrease in strength due to the molding failure. <P>SOLUTION: The body 11 of the folding transport container comprises a bottom wall 12 of a square plate, and respective pairs of long side walls 13 and short side walls 14. The container body 11 can be folded by folding the long side walls 13 on the surface of the bottom wall 12 first, and then folding the short side walls 14 on the top of the folded long side walls. The long side walls 13 are provided with hollow ribs 32, 33, 36, and the short side walls 14 are provided with hollow ribs 72, 73, 76, the ribs being molded by hollow injection method and arranged on the surface of each side wall, and wall surface joints of the side walls 13, 14 contacting the hollow ribs are formed as thin-wall parts.
