<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle data recorder for correctly storing vehicle data. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle data recorder comprises a vehicle data collecting means 103, a detector 101 to output an accident generation signal, a vehicle data recording area 107 constituted of a plurality of re-writable recording blocks to record vehicle data collected by the vehicle data collecting means 103, a record block control means 106 which selects a record block to record vehicle data, successively records vehicle data, selects a different record block by the output of the detector, starts the record of vehicle data, and stops the record in the record block recording vehicle data before the output by the detector in a predetermined time after the output by the detector, a non-volatile record area 110 to store the content of the record block, and a record block copying means 109 to copy the record content of the record block in the non-volatile record area 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
