PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device unit to be attachably/detachably installed in an image forming apparatus such as a toner cartridge to the outside surface whose product information is imparted without bringing inconvenience to a user side, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the device unit.

SOLUTION: The product information is recorded on the outer surface of the device unit attachably/detachably installed in the image forming apparatus such as the toner cartridge with organic pigment having infrared reflective property, which cannot be visually confirmed with naked eyes.
