PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having favorable dispersion of magnetic iron oxide, stable charging performance, high image density even for long-term use, no fog but excellent fluidity and developing property. SOLUTION: The toner particles are produced by mixing, dispersing and polymerizing 1 to 30 parts by weight of polyalkylene wax having 5 to 45 mg/ KOH/g hydroxyl value with respect to 100 parts by weight of a binder resin, magnetic iron oxide having 0.1 to 0.3μm volume average particle size and subjected to hydrophobic treatment with a silane coupling agent, and a polymerizable monomer in an aqueous medium.
